Schedule Released for 2026-27 Season

Syracuse University Men's Hockey has announced their schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season. 'Cuse will open their campaign in Athens, OH against the defending National Champion Ohio University Bobcats on September 25th and 26th. The Bobcats, who spent a portion of the 2025-26 season ranked as the #1 team in the country, won their first National Championship since 2004 when they defeated Adrian College in the 2026 ACHA National Championship game in St Louis, MO last March.

The 2026-27 Home Opener is slated for Friday, October 2nd against West Chester University at the Tennity Ice Pavilion. Puck drop is set for 6:00PM. The series with the Golden Rams will conclude the following afternoon at 2:00PM.

The Orange will play Niagara University twice next season. The Purple Eagles are set to join the ACC after spending the last 2 seasons independent.

Syracuse is slated to play 14 games against 7 different out-of-conference opponents next season. This includes 2 game sets with Ohio, West Chester, Robert Morris, Farmingdale State, Liberty, Calvin, and Buffalo (ACHA DII).

Syracuse will take the trip down to Liberty University just before the holiday break on December 4th and 5th. Last season, Liberty finished #5 in the country in the final ACHA national rankings. Game 1 of the series will get underway at 11:59PM - part of the "Midnight Mayhem" series that has become a tradition at Liberty. Both games against the Flames can be seen on ESPN+.

Syracuse will welcome back past members of the club when they host Robert Morris University for Hall of Fame Alumni Weekend on November 14th & 15th.  The Orange will square off with the Colonials on Saturday, November 14th and Sunday, November 15th after the club hosts the SU Men's Hockey Alumni Game on Sunday morning.

Syracuse will rematch Stony Brook University 4 times next season – the 2 game home series coming on October 10th & 11th. The Orange fell to the Seawolves 4-3 in the ACC Conference Championship game early last March.

Senior Night for the Class of 2027 is scheduled for Friday, February 19th when the Orange take on Oswego at 6:00pm.

The Orange do plan to take part in the annual SU x Syracuse Crunch event at the Upstate Medical Arena in downtown Syracuse this season. A date and time for this game has yet to be announced.

The Orange also have a 2 game exhibition series slated against the Syracuse Lightning (NCDC) on September 18th and 19th. The USPHL junior program is set for their inaugural season in Syracuse after the organization relocated from Seattle this off-season. Both games will be hosted at the Tennity Ice Pavilion.
