Connor grew up in Markham, Ontario, the youngest of five children and comes from a hockey background. His grandfather, George “Red” Sullivan, played and coached in the National Hockey League. He attended Brother Andre Catholic High school where he was a multi-sport athlete. Along with hockey, Connor also played lacrosse, golf, and baseball. He received the Athlete of the Year Award in his senior year and later went on to play Junior hockey with the Wexford Raiders and Markham Waxers.
Connor played collegiate hockey at SUNY Potsdam where he had four successful seasons with the Bears. During his time at Potsdam, Connor was an assistant captain his sophomore year and team captain in his junior and senior years. He made All Rookie Conference Team as a freshman, had an honorable mention his sophomore year, and was SUNYAC All-Conference First Team his junior and senior years. He led his team in scoring three out of his four years and was twice named the team’s Most Valuable Player. Upon graduation, Connor played professionally overseas in Europe. After returning from Europe, Connor moved back to Markham where he helped run the hockey development program for the Markham Waxers minor hockey organization. Throughout his career, Connor has learned and gained many valuable skills, experiences, and knowledge that he hopes to carry over to his coaching career.
Connor recently moved to Syracuse where he lives with his wife, Shannon.
Andrew grew up in Kent, Connecticut on Kent School campus with his parents Joe and Anna, and his two siblings Josh and Jen. Andrew attended the Kent School before enrolling in the University of San Francisco where he received his B.A in Political Science.
At Kent School, Andrew played hockey and baseball. He was captain of the baseball team his junior and senior years. Andrew played hockey under Matt Herr, current Regional Manager of USA Hockey’s American Development Model, and current Head Coach of Trinity College (CT), Matt Greason.
Andrew began his coaching career in high school fall league baseball at the University of San Francisco. Upon graduation from college, Andrew was hired to the coaching staff of Kent School Hockey in 2012. Andrew resides in Syracuse, NY.
